Pipcorn - Heirloom Sea Salt Popcorn
Pipcorn is a family business that started when co-founder Jen Martin shared some recently-discovered heirloom popcorn with her brother, Jeff. His immediate reaction was “We have to sell this!” The shells were incredibly delicate and the flavor was like nothing Jeff ever had. After much thinking, strategizing, and snacking, Jeff, his wife Teresa, and sister Jen decided to go all-in and turn these special heirloom popcorn kernels into a family business.
Pipcorn offers four lines, Heirloom Popcorn, Heirloom Cheese Balls, Heirloom Corn Dippers, and Heirloom Crackers, all of which are gluten-free and Non-GMO Project Verified. All of these snacks are inspired by childhood favorites and reimagined with heirloom corn to create better-for-everyone, modern alternatives. Pipcorn’s key ingred;ient, the heirloom corn kernel, is delicate, tasty, and easy to digest.
Amani - Cold Brew Coffee
Claude Bambi is co-founder of Amani Coffee Company. Claude is a dual citizen of the United States and the Democratic Republic of Congo. Amani was founded with a simple plan - to open trade between the US and DRC in an effort to create peace through economic development. The overwhelmingly positive nature of the farmers and their desire to create a better life inspired Claude and his co-founder to make a difference.
Amani Coffee Company created its own cooperative of 2200+ farmers (850 of which are women). We pay all our farmers above market and equal wages, as well as donate a percentage of our profits back to a charity we established in Eastern Congo to build roads, schools, and water supply.
Amani Coffee is direct trade coffee. Straight from our cooperative in DR Congo to our facilities in Chicago where we roast, pack, and distribute. All our coffee is organic, sustainably farmed, and specialty grade. We're including our delicious ready to drink cans of cold brew in this box.
Golden Made Kafe - Ground Coffee
Laure Lemboumba founded Golden Made Kafe to bring her unique experience of coffee to the world. She is originally from Gabon in Central Africa, and moved with her family to France when she was three years old. While originally not a coffee drinker, Laure got into coffee when she started working for a coffee manufacturing plant in Houston, Texas. From this inspiration, she launched her own coffee business and developed exclusive blends inspired by American, French, and African cultures – all in one cup.

Ms. P’s G Free founder and CEO Lisa Marsh wants to make the gluten-free world a tastier place. A Chicago native, her gluten-free baked goods are so popular with friends and family that she decided to start a business. Paradise Snax - Gluten-Free Pretzels and Icing Dip
Emily D. Edwards is a former social worker in private practice turned Founder of Emily's Foods. During her own weight loss journey, she became frustrated with the lack of snacks, dips, and icings options that were healthy, contained less sugar, more plant protein, and convenient for her busy lifestyle. So Emily started making plant-based icings: dips with pea protein powder to pair with her snacks in her kitchen and quickly realized that people who did not eat healthy icings and dips fell in love with them.

Food allergies were never top-of-mind for us, but when our daughter, Vivienne, began eating solid foods, it suddenly became clear she had several. And just as suddenly, our lives began to change. We set out to find the healthy, allergy-friendly snacks we'd need to fuel our active lifestyle, but came away from stores frustrated and mystified. So we set out to create our own. Making allergy-friendly, healthy snacks for my daughter was hard work, but I refused to give up or give in – and Partake Foods was born. Our products are deliciously made for just about everyone - from those with restrictions to those who simply want to eat more healthfully.
Today, Partake Foods is a mom-run, minority-owned company that makes delicious, nutritious, allergy-friendly cookies designed to provide peace of mind to those with dietary restrictions and simple enjoyment to those without. Our cookies are made with simple, whole food ingredients like organic ancient grain flours, fruits/veggies, and minimal sugar.
Yolélé - Crunchy Fonio Chips
Yolélé was created to share delicious, vibrant West African ingredients with the world, beginning with the ancient grain fonio. Yolélé was co-founded by Pierre Thiam: chef, cookbook author, global ambassador for African cuisine and culture, and longtime advocate for sustainability and biodiversity. Yolélé’s purpose is to create economic opportunity for smallholder farming communities; to promote biodiverse, regenerative farming systems; and to introduce Africa's ingredients to tables around the world.
In 2021, Yolélé launched their first snack product: Fonio Chips! The chips are made of fonio and cassava and are naturally gluten-free. Each of the four flavors are rooted in West African cultures and cuisines, and inspired by the dishes and ingredients of Chef Pierre's home country, Senegal.
