About the Fundraiser
The ladies of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® , Alpha Beta Delta Omega Chapter, are delighted to partner with Good Food Brands, a company founded by food entrepreneurs to help people discover delicious, healthy food while supporting minority and women-owned businesses.
Together, we curated two special snack box purchase options. Consider a box for yourself, as a gift, or as a “thank you” to business associates.
Proceeds from this fundraiser will support programming and college scholarships for Chicago’s northwest side.

Pipcorn is a family business that started when co-founder Jen Martin shared some recently-discovered heirloom popcorn with her brother, Jeff. His immediate reaction was “We have to sell this!” The shells were incredibly delicate and the flavor was like nothing Jeff ever had. After much thinking, strategizing, and snacking, Jeff, his wife Teresa, and sister Jen decided to go all-in and turn these special heirloom popcorn kernels into a family business.

Partake Foods - Deliciously Crunchy Allergen-Free Cookies
Food allergies were never top-of-mind for us, but when our daughter, Vivienne, began eating solid foods, it suddenly became clear she had several. And just as suddenly, our lives began to change. We set out to find the healthy, allergy-friendly snacks we'd need to fuel our active lifestyle, but came away from stores frustrated and mystified. So we set out to create our own. Making allergy-friendly, healthy snacks for my daughter was hard work, but I refused to give up or give in – and Partake Foods was born. Our products are deliciously made for just about everyone - from those with restrictions to those who simply want to eat more healthfully.
Partake Foods Chocolate Chip Cookies are deliciously crunchy, allergen-friendly snacks. Their cookies are made with simple, whole-food ingredients like organic ancient grain flours, fruits/veggies, and minimal sugar.
A Dozen Cousins - Soulfully Seasoned Beans
Ibraheem Basir is the founder and CEO of A Dozen Cousins. Growing up in Brooklyn, his kitchen was a melting pot of his mother's Southern cooking and the recipes that she picked up from their Caribbean and Latin American neighbors. After spending years working in the natural food industry, he started A Dozen Cousins so that he could share some of his family's favorite dishes using authentic recipes and real wholesome ingredients.
Delicious, slow-simmered beans made using authentic cuban spices and seasoned with real vegetables and spices. No additional cooking or refrigeration required. Simply warm in the microwave or on the stove-top and enjoy!
Symphony - Balsamic Seasoned Potato Chips
Symphony Chips were developed by Andre Anderson, a retired Las Vegas Chef and his two daughters. While working on the infamous Las Vegas strip, he developed a 28 herb and spice blend that caught the attention of patrons and fellow chefs alike. It wasn't until he put it on homemade potato chips that people began to notice its unique flavor. Thus, Symphony Chips was born. A gourmet potato chip with a harmonious blend of flavors in every bite.

Siete Foods - Ranch Flavored Grain-Free Tortilla Chips
Siete Family Foods was born when Veronica Garza's family helped her overcome a series of major health challenges. As a Mexican-American family from South Texas, the tacos and fajitas that they used to enjoy on flour and corn tortillas just didn't taste the same on a lettuce leaf! So she began making grain-free tortillas for her family, and they loved them. Veronica knew she had something really special when her Grandma Campos told her that the tortillas tasted better than the homemade flour tortillas she'd made for decades!
Siete Foods tortilla chips are grain-free and gluten-free, made for everyone to enjoy. The company makes grain-free Mexican staple foods including tortillas, chips, salsas, and seasonings.
Dang Foods - Sriracha Thai Rice Chips
Dang was founded by brothers Vincent and Andrew to bring the flavors of Thailand to America. They created delicious snacks that blend together their Thai-American heritage. As a Certified B Corp, Dang meets rigorous standards of environmental performance and public transparency, and all of our farms follow ethical business practices.
Thai Sticky-Rice Chips - Khao Taen in Thai - are inspired by Northern Thai street food. We soak sticky-rice in fresh watermelon juice and coconut milk to bind the grains together, then crisp them up to bring out the flavor of toasted rice. These gluten-free, crunchy, mini rice cakes have 25-35% less fat than regular potato chips.
Agua Bonita - Mango Habanero Agua Fresca
Hi! We're Kayla and Erin. We met working for Good Use, a cold-pressed juice company that makes juice out of surplus and ugly produce. They dreamed of introducing America to treats made from premium, non-GMO ingredients, with just the right touch of sweetness and the feeling of home.
